Over the past couple of years, Daniel has been immersed in the olfactory world of spices. While adding spice to a dish may come naturally to anyone with a sense for balance in the kitchen, translating that same intuition into perfumery is far more complex. Spices demand precision—too little, and the composition feels muted; too much, and it quickly becomes overpowering. After years of experimentation and refinement, Daniel has found his rhythm in the world of olfactory spices. The result is a series of creations that highlight the art of spice in perfumery—Purple Powder, Cadence, Crimson Veil, and now, Resinwood.
Resinwood opens with the lively crackle of Timur Pepper, its bright, citrus-like heat drawing the senses in. The freshness soon gives way to Black Hemlock, whose dark, resinous character evokes the feeling of quiet forest air.
At the heart, Frankincense brings a soft, smoky warmth that drifts through smooth layers of Sandalwood, creating a velvety texture—warm yet reserved.
As the scent develops, Amber and Oakmoss form a grounded base, blending golden resin and green earth into a lasting finish.
Resinwood continues our journey through the art of spice in perfumery—an exploration of warmth, texture, and natural depth.
