La Fleur by Livvy was founded in the summer of 2013 by Olivia Larson aka Livvy in Colorado, USA who is a self taught Artisan perfume maker. Each perfume is hand crafted in small batches and are plant based natural perfumes.

Since the main ingredients are derived from flowers and plants, therefore, the name “La Fleur” or “The Flower”.  "My love for flowers led me to create a fragrance line using  what nature has to offer us. My fragrances are not intended to overwhelm the presence in the room. They are meant to accentuate but not take away from the wearer.  They are soft, subtle and sensuous".

Our fragrances are about Journeys and Travel. The "Fleur" Collection is about a woman's journey in life, it's about her dreams and aspirations, her faith, innocence and seductiveness. It is the first series of perfumes that were created.

41 years later, in 2016, his son and his family boldly reinvented Le Jardin Retrouvé, while keeping Yuri’s delicate formulas, as well as his historical suppliers. Le Jardin Retrouvé is a way of experiencing perfume, both inspired by nature and comforting.

The bottles are sealed with a cap stamped with the Maison Crivelli monogram. This house signature lies on unpolished, non-identical zamac caps, each of which is unique, thereby extending the art of the unexpected that we at Maison Crivelli appreciate so much.

Sybaris was a city of Magna Graecia, "Great Greece", that was located in southern Italy on the Gulf of Taranto. It was said to have been established in 720 B.C. by settlers from the Greek Peloponnesus, mainly from the city of Argolis, and developed into a very prosperous area. It was known for its luxurious hedonistic lifestyle for the sybarites until it was destroyed by neighboring Crotona in 510 B.C. Sybarites were widely distributed in ancient literature of various genres. Herodotus, Strabo, Theocritus, Elian and others report on Sybaris. The term of Sybarite refer to exquisite people with refined tastes or to those who were delivered to the luxury and pleasure. They should have been known for being a member of the probably first monetary union in history.

The Sybarite story has an obvious reflection in the famous tale published by the well-known Danish author Hans Christian Andersen "The Princess and the Pea", in which an unknown girl confirms her royal ancestry and status as princess because lying on a bed of twenty mattresses she could not sleep due to the trouble that a pea that was under them caused her. So delicate the little princess was!

Sybarites were advanced for its time, its policies and the way to live, knowing to associate pleasure with work, arts, quality of life, harmonious coexistence with nature and well-being. A conscious sybarite is person totally devoted to sensuality and all of life’s pleasures while being respectful of the environment. If you know someone who’s totally devoted to sensuality and all of life’s pleasures, call them Sybarite.

History

Born in Norway, Kristian aka Malbrum spent his adult life travelling across the world to gain expertise in sourcing highest quality of essential oils, wood extracts, absolutes and molecules. Perfume became his main interest at the age of 8, not only for his sensitive nose, but also as a result of his highly curious personality.

As a kid he was known for his wish improve everything by taking apart toys, computers and fireworks in order to put it back together to work in a faster, louder and more impressive way.

He was incredibly annoyed by the thought of how this was impossible with perfumes.

Years later he was found at Carlsberg breweries, where he learned how to produce beer, soda, and most importantly water with natural blueberry taste. The discovery of the blueberry tasting water and its chemical composition led him to the global suppliers of natural molecules, which also is used in perfumery.

He developed a vision to establish a company that focuses on the quality aspects of perfume, namely the longevity and choice of ingredients. He felt that a sharp focus on quality that Norway is known for, combined with his fearless love for experiments would lead a small but loyal core of enthusiasts to new discoveries.


Philosophy

Today, it is not a rare sight to find traditional perfume on a bathroom shelf that you put on your skin, only to evaporate after few hours. Our choice of ingredients is based on the feelings they promote and the longevity on the skin.

Wearing Malbrum is a statement because of the vibrant formulation signals a moment of total freedom, being in a state of mind where magnetic attraction is truly felt.

The concept of a long lasted feeling of being at your most attractive level, is pure magic, and we live for the kick it gives to turn heads on the street or dance floor from wearing perfume.

Manos Gerakinis’s vision of the fragrance brand was clear: he wanted the wearer to become the pole of attraction for those around him and to be a lasting memory long after.

Manos, given name Emmanouil, a world class traveler whose life specialized him in fine luxury, was born in North Greece but lived abroad most of his life. Coming from a ship owner family that originates in Istanbul meant that his grandparents would take him traveling around the world. He was charmed by different cultures while growing to love classical music and developing his natural talent for painting. His grandmother who was a fine art lover, introduced him to the french 'Savoir Faire' and insisted on him taking painting classes for almost ten years. Manos favourite themes are women and flowers, especially roses.

Since a young boy he started collecting scents and fragrances in order to captivate these memories. He knew since then that a fragrance is one's little treasure and as such it should be unique, mysterious and poetic. He is the editor of every single perfume to its last detail and each one narrates a story of their own. His scents can take you to various places, from walking down Champs Elysees to the Arab souk markets, from a summer night in Greece to a Japanese flower garden.

Born in a Northern French family who had made name for themselves in the textile industry, Marc-Antoine Barrois tries to get back to the fundamentals of  luxury with no ostentation but delicatesse and humanity. After having learnt pattern-making and sewing, he presented his first collections in Lille before joining the Maison de Couture Dominique Sirop. Then, he worked with Jean-Paul Gaultier at Hermès, Jean-Claude Jitrois and Giambattista Valli. This experience made him realise the need for unique, original and elegant pieces for men.

Since 2009, Marc-Antoine Barrois offers a contemporary creative bespoke service, offering men what Haute Couture offers to women. From suits to tuxedo, capes to coats or even jogging jackets made in incredible fabrics, leathers or embroideries, Marc-Antoine Barrois makes his clients’ dreams come true with a personnal service and a traditional know-how in his Paris workshop.

Ten years after commencing Haute Couture, French couturier, Marc-Antoine Barrois launched his first perfume.

In every single scene of an opera, some of the actors alongside the leading character, as well as the element of the set are changing. In the same way, in our lives we can change the “mask” (our look, lifestyle, friendships, the tone of our voice or the mannerism) yet we could never part from our innermost sensitivity. With Masque Fragranze, Alessandro and Riccardo do not intend to create a myth, a best-seller, a one-size-fits-all perfume for everyone. Rather, they aim at creating a collection of perfumes with a soul. Each one unique. Perfumes to wear like a second skin … the perfume behind the mask. Is there an actor able to relate to every possible role with conviction? A musician able to play every single musical style with authenticity? Then there could be no nose able to represent every single scene of the opera. The fragrances of Masque are to be created with a soul, and the nose’s appointment is to give life to our scene. Hence, every scene will have “its” nose.

SCENTS OF WOOD IS A JOURNEY INTO THE MAGICAL MYSTERY OF FORESTS AND TREES.

Forests make us fall in love with nature and the universe.

They are an exploration of the senses and Shinrin Yoku, the brand’s Japanese name, is about capturing that feeling, that pull, that attraction. It loosely translates to “Forest Bathing”, a form of walking meditation amongst trees.

L’Âme du Bois, the brand’s French name, means “Soul of Wood”. An evocation of their unique creative process, the tree essences the perfumers select, the barrels in which they age their organic alcohol.

Scents of Wood, the brand’s English name, designates the final output of this labor of love.
