In the early 1990s, Jaume traveled to Osaka to work with Bayeido, a historic incense factory, where he gained invaluable knowledge about the art of creating exceptional incense. His regular journeys to Yokohama also led to an important friendship with Satoh-san, with whom he explored different corners of Japan and discovered unique raw materials that would later influence the creation of more complex fragrances.

Sunset Yoko is a tribute to those journeys, discoveries, friendships, and the fascinating world of Japanese fragrance culture.

The composition opens with the fresh, aromatic character of green tea, gingko, horse chestnut extract, and melissa, creating a vibrant introduction inspired by Japan's natural landscapes.

At the heart, cinnamon bark, patchouli, black pepper, and galbanum bring warmth, spice, earthiness, and a distinctive aromatic character.
