Tango Oud is a whole new interpretation of Tango, created for the new Masque Milano’s Ruby Collection: it is an even richer and more opulent version than the original one. The vibrant opening, enhanced with sparkling spices such as pink pepper and cardamom as well as warmer spices like cinnamon, leads to a deeply intensified floral heart where an inebriating, creamy Jasmine dances with a thick, velvety Centifolia Rose absolute.
The patchouli note was facetted to become more modern, powerful and longlasting. But what truly gives its depth, strength and character to this fragrance is the introduction of Oud Aquilaria malaccensis, the most precious of all Ouds. Its woody, leathery, animalic notes, enhanced by animalic, sensual and ambery Ambraro- me, and strengthened by a sharp and vibrant amber woody note, make this Tango wilder than ever…
“The type of Oud used in Tango Oud (Aquilaria malaccensis) is considered to be the most precious Oud in the world. It grows and is distilled in the region of Sylhet in Bangladesh, on the border with Assam, which is the historical birthplace of Oud. It is particularly woody and leathery compared to other ouds, with animalic and spicy facets, and has incomparable depth, power and elegance.” Cécile Zarokian
