An "Aromatique Boisé Ambré," Place aux Aires is a fresh and refined citrus perfume with a light, discreet floral and aromatic heart, and a soft musk, wood and ambergris base. This exquisite fragrance is an Eau de Parfum by concentration, but remains a traditional Eau de Cologne by type and inspiration: the best of both worlds, since Eaux de Cologne are typically highly volatile due to the ephemeral molecular structure of citrus.
This fine fragrance pays homage to Place aux Aires, the courtyard located in the center of Grasse, the world capital of perfume, and artfully layers components grown locally to make a sublime, fresh and luxurious perfume. The desire to create this incredibly vibrant, sunny and fresh citrus Eau de Parfum was inspired by childhood memories of attending the Saturday market; there, we tasted the freshest, most delicious and ripe, locally-harvested fruits: bergamot, mandarins, lemons, peaches, nectarines and oranges.
