Amiral de Grasse pays homage to the Great Admiral François Joseph Paul who is known, among other feats, for his role in the American Revolution: in 1781, he helped George Washington and General Rochambeau secure the victory of the Battle of Chesapeake Bay. Admiral de Grasse, a nobleman, had ties to our hometown and the sea. The perfume dedicated to his memory, therefore, layers citruses native of Grasse, aromatics from the Mediterranean basin, a discreet hint of Jasmine (a flower revered in Grasse), and aquatic notes of seaweed intertwined with musks, moss and delightful secret ingredients. This elegant, gentle citrus with a soft floral heart features a distinct marine and moss undertone.
